Deco’s Original La Paz Batchoy

A trivia about Batchoy: The dish was concocted in the La Paz market in 1938 by Federico Guillergan, Sr. His recipe called for a mixture of broth, noodles, beef and pork. The soup later evolved into its present form which has become Iloilo City’s most popular dish. [Source: Wikipedia]

I’m with one of my best of friend (Arvin), by the way arbs thanks for the photo [ more photos to come]. Lols! We’re so hungry and we decided to eat at deco’s. [Because we miss batchoy] With matching Pandesal (bread) and Puto (rice cake), so yummy! And the shanghai lumpia (spring rolls) with the sweet and chili sauce are so good! We also asked for extra caldo (extra soup) because it tastes so good.
